Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP)

I offer Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP), a therapeutic approach designed to help people work with trauma held in the nervous system and body. Many people who explore this work have already spent years in therapy, yet still feel that certain trauma responses remain deeply held in the body.

This work is available for individuals experiencing symptoms related to trauma, including PTSD, dissociation, anxiety, hyper-vigilance, and depression.

PSIP sessions may involve working with psychedelic medicine in collaboration with your medical doctor or psychiatrist. Participation in this work requires careful screening and preparation, and together we determine whether this approach is appropriate for your goals and circumstances.

PSIP focuses on the autonomic nervous system and the ways trauma can become stored in the body over time. By working with the body’s natural processes and allowing the nervous system to move through previously unresolved responses, people may begin to experience meaningful shifts in how they relate to themselves, their emotions, and their sense of safety.

In addition to preparation and session work, I offer integration sessions that draw from Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). Integration helps people reflect on and deepen the insights and emotional shifts that can arise through psychedelic-assisted work.

Clients participating in psychedelic work within my practice are also invited to attend a PSIP Preparation and Integration Group. These groups provide a supportive space for people to share experiences, process insights, and connect with others engaged in similar work. Group integration can offer a sense of community, which many people find deeply resourcing as they move through the PSIP process.
